How do I get into the space?

You’ll enter the building from the front door on the Boston Avenue side. Exact instructions for entering, wifi password, etc will be sent via email after booking!

When do I get the code for studio access?

Once your booking is complete, you will receive an email confirmation with the information.

Can I come earlier than my scheduled time?

The studio is often booked back to back, you’ll have to wait for your appointment time to enter the studio.

What is the best time of day to shoot?

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

How do I reschedule my appointment?

In your confirmation email, there is a reschedule button at the bottom of the email! If it’s within 1 day of your session, the website will no longer allow a reschedule.

What if I need more time than I booked the studio for?

While we can’t guarantee the studio will be available for a longer time period, please reach out if you need to extend your booking. We will let you know if this is possible!

If you have mini sessions booked, please book enough time for setup and breakdown.

Can I move the props in the studio?

Yes! You can absolutely move the props that we have provided. Please be sure to place them back where you found them once you leave and do not drag any furniture across the floors.

Will the props in the photos be at the studio when I book an appointment?

Props are subject to change, as props wear and tear, we replace as needed! If you’re curious about a specific piece you can definitely reach out to see if it will be at the studio for your session!

Are there restrooms available?

Yes! We have a restroom and dressing room inside the studio. The dressing room is equipped with some essentials like deodorant, safety pins, hairspray, etc.

Are pets allowed in the studio?

Animals are allowed with a $50 pet fee. Please make sure animals do not have accidents in the studio as additional fees may be applied. Make sure to clean any hair that might be left from pets. Pets are not allowed on furniture.

Why are there cameras throughout the studio?

The cameras in the studio are there for both for your safety and ours. They help ensure the space is secure and properly maintained while being used. We want everyone to feel comfortable while in the studio, so rest assured these cameras are solely for safety and monitoring the space.

What happens if there is a mess when I arrive at the studio?

As a self check in studio, we rely on users to respect the space and its condition. There can be accidents or users that have abused the space. If there is anything wrong with the studio please let us know immediately.

What is the best way to reach out if I need anything during my appointment?

The email confirmation will include the studio email and phone number. We highly prefer text messaging to keep track of bookings and documenting conversations to prevent double bookings or mistake. We do our best to reply at a timely manner as we correspond to other clients.

Studio Policies + Etiquette

• No drugs, nudity, weapons, or open flames are permitted in the studio.

• We do not offer refunds for cancellations.

• Please leave the studio in the condition that you found it in. Please refer to the check-out checklist upon departure to ensure the studio is left in proper condition.

• Glitter and smoke bombs are not allowed in the studio.

• Cake smashes are allowed, but please make sure to clean up after.

• Make sure to not leave any trash, personal belongings, or equipment in the studio.

• Any abuse or repeated disrespect of the space or with other members will result in being banned from the studio.
